Seven, six, eight: three hundred and thirty-six kinds of people

Seven temperaments, six emotional types, eight intellectual types. You are one of each, and the combination is yours.

Chronobiological psychogenetics does not sort people into a handful of boxes. It reads three levels independently, and on each level the ratio between two properties produces a type. Because the levels are independent, the types multiply rather than add: seven temperaments, six emotional types and eight intellectual types give 336 distinct profiles, before the finer measurements within each type are taken into account.

Seven temperaments (physical level, reflection to activity)

Melancholic · sensitive choleric · choleric · sanguine · phlegmatic-sanguine · phlegmatic · middle sanguine. The classical names are used because the classical observations hold; the method adds the measurement behind them.

Six emotional types (emotional level, I-strength to We-strength)

Cold · sentimental · egoistic leader · self-sacrificing · empathetic · passionate. None is better than another; each is a different balance between keeping yourself steady and giving yourself away.

Eight intellectual types (intellectual level, intuition to logic)

Practical thinker · practical mixed · practical artistic · harmonious thinker · harmonious mixed · productive thinker · productive mixed · productive artistic. The first word is the level of mental energy, which sets how far ahead a person naturally thinks: practical types plan in weeks, harmonious types in months to a year, productive types in years and decades. The second word is which hemisphere leads: thinker (logic), artistic (intuition) or mixed (both, in balance). The eight are described in their own piece below.

Reading your three types side by side is where the profile becomes personal: a choleric temperament with a self-sacrificing emotional type and a harmonious thinker's mind is a very different person from a choleric with a cold emotional type and a productive artistic mind, even though both are "choleric". That is why the profile is explained in person, level by level, rather than handed over as a label.
